Personal Biography for Kyle Sullivan
I was born and reared in Hyattsville, Maryland, outside of D.C. as the youngest of 5 children. I was raised Methodist and attended Catholic schools for eight years.
I graduated from DeMatha Catholic High School in 1989.
I attended East Carolina University in Greenville, NC the fall of ’89
and ran cross country and track for them.
It was during my time at ECU that I began to hear the gospel and after the many prayers from my brother’s family and his church and hearing God’s Word faithfully preached, I received Christ as my Savior on June 11, 1990. In early 1991,
I surrendered to full time Christian service--whatever God wanted me to do.
I enrolled in Northland Baptist Bible College in 1991 and graduated with a degree in Missions in 1995. I completed a Masters in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2013 and have been a certified counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors since 2005.
Since then the Lord has abundantly blessed my life and called me to
serve Him. I married my wife, Christina, in 1993 and God has given us 4 sons and one daughter in heaven. I have been a youth minister for 20 years – 15 in Cary, NC and 5 in Wilmington, NC and taken many missions trips to share the Gospel around the world.
